husband-and-wife duo took a chance when they decided to open a coffee shop in Conrad Montana but now their hard work has officially paid off dudes Elizabeth transou takes us to folklore coffee for their story exit 335 off Interstate 15 we pride ourselves in thinking that we have some of the best quality in the state lies Conrad Montana I can roast like 120 pounds in a day home to one of the best Coffee Roasters in the country small-town Montana doesn’t always get the best treatment coffee wise so we thought let’s go all in and we’re not making this up owner and Coffee Bean fanatic Andrew Pollard won a gold medal in the golden bean North America in Portland Oregon the largest coffee roasting competition in the world there we go just gonna do everything we could to figure out how can we do this the best way we could with over nine hundred entries what makes folk Lord the best of the best I’m roasting has kind of become an obsession I’m a little bit of a nerd Andrew and his wife travelled the world learning the perks of the trade and now their cup of joe is brewing up from Washington to Louisiana both the people out in the tri-cities and the people in Baton Rouge tried our coffee in the shop here and got a hold of me later on saying I’m thinking about opening up a coffee shop would you guys look into roasting for us so no matter what just about anyone that walks through the door Conrad customers all right I could start making their drink or any of our breezes could start making their drinks without them saying a word we’ll always come first it’s pretty amazing being in little Conrad Montana in Conrad Elizabeth transou MTN news
