Welcome to Pot to Plates Kitchen, Today i am going to show how to make healthy & refreshing Dry Ginger & coriander coffee. I have provided the ingredients required in the description box, Please take a look before start preparing the recipe. Take 50 grams coriander seeds, 50 grams dry ginger. Slightly dry roast the dry ginger & crush it. If you grind the dry ginger directly, it will break the mixer blades. This is the reason it has to be dry roasted slightly & crushed well. Take 1 tbsp Black Pepper Corn & 5 Cardamom seeds. Cardamom seeds is optional only. These all ingredients has to be dry roasted in the Pan. Heat the Pan in high flame before putting the Ingredients. While Putting the Ingredients change it to low flame, then only all the ingredients will get roasted evenly. First put the Coriander seeds then Pepper followed by cardamom seeds. As we have roasted dry ginger earlier no need to roast them again. If this Dry ginger coffee powder has to be stored and used, then it has to be roasted. If you are going to make instant coffee just grind and use the ingredients. Just roast the ingredients for 2 mins or till you get a slight aroma. Allow it to cool down. Add the dry ginger & grind it well to make a fine powder. This Coffee helps improving digestion & cure gas problems. If you like to store & use it. Use it only for 15 days, after that it will lose the aroma & freshness. Store it an air tight container. Take 300 ml water in a bowl/ Pan & boil it. Once its started boiling, add one 1 tbsp Dry ginger & coriander coffee powder & mix it well. Once its started boiling well, add Jaggery to this. I have used Palm Jaggery but if you dont have Palm Jaggery use the Sugarcane Jaggery. I have added 2 tbsp Palm Jaggery, you can add/ reduce the quantity as per your sweet requirement. The Jaggery added has to be dissolve in the water and the water should start boiling well again. This has to be boiled for at least 5 to 6 mins. Once its boiled, Filter it using tea filter.
