Welcome to MJ’s Kitchen & today’s recipe is Tea Cake watch this recipe in full, & follow all the steps. this recipe will make your cake very soft & fluffy let’s start making cake. to make tea cake we need: 1½ cup Flour, 1 cup Powdered Sugar, ½ cup Butter, 2 tsp Baking Powder (leveled), 2 Eggs, ¾ Cup Milk, 1 tsp Vanilla Essence add ½ cup butter in a mixing bowl, beat it first now add sugar gradually & continue beating. you must know that butter & eggs are at room temperate don’t use direct from fridge. in any cake recipe. clean the sides of the bowl once, sugar stays on sides butter & sugar is well beaten. now add eggs once by one. add 1 egg first & beat. now add 2nd egg. 1 tsp vanilla essence. beat it again. now mix baking powder in flour. now add flour & milk one by one in butter start with flour & also end with flour. first add little flour beat it. add a little milk, beat it add flour again. add little milk again, beat it. I put my pan on stove to get preheated. batter of cake is ready. cake pan is greased with oil. transfer batter into baking pan. tab it once or more. I put only stand in pan. no salt or stones. there’s only stand, put cake pan on stand cover it. & bake it on medium to low flame for 25~30 minutes do not uncover it before 25 minutes, will check after 25 minutes cake is baked, see the skewer is clean now turning off the flame. I checked it after 25 minutes it wasn’t fully baked so I baked it for more 10 minutes now it’s total baking time is 35 minutes it’s ready baked in 35 minutes. see how soft cake is done. now I’ll cut a slice to show you. I baked it in a big pan, If you want to bake it in oven bake it at 180°, only bottom heat on & set the time for 30 minutes. cake is hot & very soft now cut it once it’s cools down.
